On this day you depart early in the morning with your packed breakfast and lunch and drive further to the Mara River where by then we will find along the way groups of wildebeests moving towards the river or congregating along the river waiting for their time to cross. The wait to see them crossing is like waiting for a person to be born and everyone is alert if you hear at any point they cross! It is such an adventurous event to witness one. It is also the time for the monsters crocodiles waiting for their meals after almost a year long. You will spend your day there along the Mara River areas. Late afternoon you drive back to the camp for hot showers, dinner and overnight at Ole Serai Luxury Lodge North Serengeti. You will rise early for your breakfast. You will check out and drive to central Serengeti with game drive enroute. You have the option to drive to your accommodation for a hot lunch and then a swimming in the lodge’s pool before embarking for a late afternoon game drive OR to opt for a packed lunch which can be enjoyed at one of the various picnic sites found in the Serengeti. After lunch, you will continue on a game drive. Evening drive to Kubukubu Tented Lodge Serengeti in time to enjoy a sundowner before your evening meal

Spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti plains. You will rise early to enjoy an early morning game drive. At sunrise, you may encounter animals grazing in the beautiful light of sunrise and predators may still be busy hunting before retiring to rest for the day. Sunrise on the Serengeti is not to be missed and extraordinary photographic opportunities will abound at this magical time of day. You have the option to return to your accommodation for a hot lunch or to opt for a packed lunch which can be enjoyed at one of the various picnic sites found in the Serengeti. After lunch, you will continue on a game drive. Around the time of dusk be on the lookout for lion.
Cheetah can also be spotted on the plains in the early morning and late afternoon when temperatures are not too high. They rely on daylight and speed to catch their prey. Hippo pods can be seen in the bigger pools and rivers while crocodiles can be seen sunning themselves on the riverbanks. You will return to Kubukubu Tented Lodge Serengeti in time to enjoy a sundowner before your evening meal

After your breakfast, your guide will pick you up for another game drive in the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. You drive to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. You will have your last game drive in the area and late afternoon drive via Ngorongoro to Karatu. En-route you will visit a Maasai Boma where you will get the chance to see the Maasai performing their traditional dances. You may even get a chance to join in! Then after, drive to Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today is the last day of your safari in Tanzania. After breakfast you check out from the lodge and drive to Tarangire National Park for full day game drive. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of

Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa, lion, leopard, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo. Late afternoon drive to Arusha for a day room at Lake Duluti Serena Lodge or similar for day room – shower and re-packing. You will then be transferred to Kilimanjaro International airport for your flight

At this day one of our team member will escort you from the hotel to the airport
