DAY 01: MOMBASA
On arrival at the Moi International Airport, you will be met by your tour leader at the arrival lounge and you shall be transferred to the hotel for check in and relaxation. With its beautiful and relaxed environment, guests will have a chance to relax and unwind for the trip ahead. Dinner and lunch will be on own arrangements

DAY 02: HALF DAY CITY TOUR OF MOMBASA

Tour starts in the early morning to avoid the high day temperatures

City food and spice market – a glimpse into the lives of the local people
Elephant tusks – the gateway to Mombasa AND Hindus Temple
Likoni Channel – Port entry into Kenya
Return to your hotel in time for lunch. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure

DAY 03: NORTH COAST TOUR

Tourist Attractions in Malindi | Malindi Marine National Park
After breakfast, you will precede to North Coast, towards Malindi. It is 108KM drive by Road and it takes 1 Hour 40 Minutes. We will have a stopover at Mida Creek which Stretches inland from the sea into Arabuko Sokoke Forest in one of Watamu’s true hidden treasures.

This 32km2 creek has wide, healthy beds of sea grass and coral, home to many species of fish and feeding sea turtles, while in the mangroves smaller streams and inlets provide a refuge for crabs and birdlife. Mida is a stopover point for many migratory birds and an essential protected area for their survival. This makes it one of the most important and beautiful natural attractions on the Kenyan coast.

Later we proceed into Gede ruins which is just few kilometres drive from Mida Creek is one of the fascinating attractions in North coast. Left standing today is numerous coral-brick houses, a palace, as well as an impressive mosque. However, it is not only the quality of the ruins that amazes visitors but the advanced nature of the settlement. Gedi was in many ways, a very advanced city with streets, running water and flushing toilets. Inside Gedi ruins, there are butterfly farm and Snake Park. Gede ruins is 10KM away from Malindi Town. We will head to Malindi and have lunch for about 1 Hour. After lunch, proceed to explore the Malindi circuit which comprises of Vasco Da Gama, the oldest Portuguese chapel in East Africa Etc. after a day if exploration we will drive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 04: WASINI DHOW & DOLPHIN EXCURSION

After an early breakfast, you will be picked by your driver guide at around 0600 hrs and depart for south coast. The morning drive is across the ferry to the South Coast where we stop briefly at Diani beach. Later proceed to the historical small fishing village of Shimoni on a drive via coastal settlements with views of palm trees, cashew nuts, mango tree plantations. At the Shimoni village we board the motorized dhows for a cruise in the marine park and the surrounding Kisite, Mpunguti Islands.

Snorkel and marvel at the rich marine life where corals, exotic fish and sea plants are protected. As we sail in the calm waters, we will be on the lookout for the resident dolphins that approach our dhow and beckon us to join them for a swimming duel.
At Wasini Island, disembark and take a discovery stroll through the Island and its pure Swahili culture also visiting the giant coral garden and adjacent mangrove swamp forest. Our guide shall give us an in-depth oration throughout the tour.
Later, settle down for an adventurous barbeque seafood lunch with local Swahili accompaniments. After a short reflective siesta, board your dhows for the sail to the mainland jetty at Shimoni. Time permitting visit the Shimoni caves where slaves were “stored” during the old slave trading days before shipment to the Zanzibar slave market. Bid “Kwaheri” to the village folk and return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 05: TAMARIND DINNER DHOW

The rest of the day will be at leisure. Enjoy time at the pool are and also a visit to the beach. After a day full of relaxation at around 1800hrs you will be picked by your driver guide for a captivating dinner at the Tamarind Dhow. The Tamarind dinner on a cruising dhow cum restaurant offers the best in seafood and dining experience

 Music and drinks to go with the romantic atmosphere

The dining experience ends at approximately 2200hrs with transfers to your hotel for overnight.

DAY 06: DEPART END OF HOLIDAY
Breakfast at the hotel followed by morning check out at 1000 hrs. Thereafter, you will be transferred to the Moi International Airport for your scheduled home bound flight.
