1-Day Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Discover the wonders of Ngorongoro Conservation Area on an exhilarating one-day tour, beginning with a 4:30 AM pickup from your hotel. Your adventure starts with a transfer to the airport, followed by a scenic 3-hour drive through the Great Rift Valley and a brief stop at the stunning Rift Valley Escarpment viewpoint. Once at Ngorongoro, you’ll have a quick registration stop before descending into the crater floor for an entire day of game drives within this UNESCO World Heritage site.

This is a one-day group or individual tour itinerary for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is a full day Trip in Ngorongoro national park, of which pick up time is at 04:30 am where your driver will be at your hotel to pick you up and transfer you to the airport at 05:00 a.m. After arrival our professional driver guide will be waiting for you at the airport for a pick up and game drive. We will drive for 3 hours to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will pass through the Great Rift Valley on our way and ascend the stunning escarpments of the rift valley with a brief stop at the Rift Valley Escarpment’s view point.

We will have a brief stop at the Loduare Main Gate for registration process for some 5 to 15 minutes then proceed to the Crater Rim where we will make another short brief stop to for a glimpse of the crater floor from the top as well as take photos. Then we will go down to the Crater floor and spend the whole day doing game drives inside the world’s unbroken Caldera which is also one of the UNESCO world heritage sites found in Tanzania.

Ngoro Ngoro Crater is well-known for seeing a lot of animals at a very near range including the Big Five with just a little luck in one day. Other animals that can be seen include; zebras, wildebeests, impalas, gazelles, hyenas, and many birds including the flamingos. Picnic lunch will be served at one of the sites in the Crater floor then continue with game drives until 14.00 hrs. Or 14.30 hrs and drive back to
the airport for departure. But when we drive out and proceed back to Arusha arriving early with lots of memories and photos to share!
